The DNC back in 2020 weren’t picking someone who could beat Trump, they were picking someone who could beat Bernie Sanders, and created/enhanced/allowed tactics from newsmedia that has suddenly become duplicated to try to politically push them out four years later for better ratings. oops.

Very likely an unpopular opinion, but it might be time to levy some criticism towards all the progressives running -against- each other for the presidency, as opposed to merging forces to becoming a unified and legitimate third option in the broken two-party system of U.S. politics.

The Tampa Bay Rays are a well-run organization with zero plans to elevate their budget, their outreach for superstars, or even their attempts to actually building a future site in a viable location. This all leaves me in a disinterested state of fandom purgatory that feels distant from my past supporting this team.

Now with MLB and MiLB closer than ever, maybe its time to install a summertime tournament that could spread the popularity of MLB to new areas as well as places that had been forgotten by time and the evolution of professional sports. It is time for MLB’s very own Eurosoccer-like tourney.

Baseball fans deserve better than what they’re seeing. But the current crop of owners, executives, and commissioners in baseball and beyond have done some severe damage to a sport that has so many opportunities to improve and grow.

Nintendo Switch Online has been a success story, but can clearly, easily be so so much more if Nintendo wanted to dive deeper into its past as well as the community of retro gamers playing older titles in different, creative ways.

If MLB wants to improve the flailing television ratings of the World Series, then maybe it should become a much longer journey towards the championship destination.

I don’t want a rematch, I want a wide-open race, and we have to find ways to ensure more voices are heard in the 2024 presidential race for the future of this politically-backwards country.
